Description
An assortment of approximately 80 pieces of clear glassware comprising a variety of vintage and contemporary stemware and tumblers. The collection features several distinct groups of vintage stemware, including champagne coupes, wine glasses, and cordials decorated with a neoclassical urn and floral garland etched border. Other vintage pieces display etched floral sprigs, grapevine motifs, and leafy vines, with some tumblers incorporating vertical optic ribbing. Several champagne coupes and wine glasses feature horizontal optic ring bowls. A grouping of wine goblets includes a thin metallic rim, likely silver or platinum deposit, above an etched laurel band. Modern barware includes martini glasses with faceted stems and champagne flutes with elongated bowls. Two contemporary martini glasses feature black stems and bases with a printed logo on the bowl consisting of a stylized letter C within a double-lined square frame above the text CEDAR LAKE. The lot is composed of clear glass showing various decorative techniques including wheel-cutting and acid-etching. The vintage etched patterns are characteristic of American glass production from the mid-20th century.
