Description
This is a four-part hurricane candle lamp or chamberstick produced by Old Castle in England. The assembly comprises a metal pedestal base with a scrolled finger-hold handle, a clear blown glass bulbous hurricane globe, a conical metal shade, and a straight cylindrical glass chimney that extends through the top of the shade. The metal components feature a matte, dark gray finish. The glass components are clear and blown, consisting of a bulbous globe designed to rest within the metal base and a straight-sided chimney. A circular paper label is present on the underside of the base, featuring a red and white shield motif with a castle and the text Old Castle ENGLAND. One white wax taper candle is included.
