Description
An assortment of five monochrome and sepia-toned studio portraits, dating from approximately the late 19th to the mid-20th century. The collection includes a variety of photographic processes, likely comprising silver gelatin prints and albumen prints. The subjects consist of formal individual portraits including a woman in an elegant long gown seated in a chair, an older woman wearing spectacles, a young man with a side-parted hairstyle, a man in a dark suit, and a small child standing outdoors. The photographs are presented in a diverse group of mounts and frames. One print is housed in a large wooden swivel-mount desk frame featuring carved scrollwork.
