A collection of vintage lithographed tin containers from the early to mid-20th century, manufactured in the United States. The grouping includes a Hand Witch hand cleaner tin produced by the Flate Stove Polish Co. featuring red and black graphics; a round 5-ounce J.R. Watkins Mentho-Camphor Ointment tin listing locations in New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, and California; a rectangular Packer’s Healing Tar Soap tin from The Packer Mfg. Co. Inc. of New York; a bright yellow pocket tin for Carbolized Mutton Tallow with Camphor from The Roosa and Ratliff Chemical Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio; an R.T. Booth’s Mi-O-Na indigestion tablet tin by Booth’s Hyomei Co. citing the Food and Drugs Act of 1906; and a heavily weathered rectangular tin with partial text indicating a travel or miniature set. The items are constructed of sheet metal with various lid styles including slip-on and hinged.
