An assortment of vintage and antique scissors, tailoring shears, and sewing snips of various forms. The group includes multiple pairs of professional shears with offset handles, household utility scissors, and embroidery thread snips. The tools are primarily constructed from forged steel. One pair of large utility shears features a specialized shank incorporating a serrated notch and an integrated bottle opener. Another pair of embroidery scissors features a curved finger rest on the lower handle loop. Several examples feature black or pale green enameled handles, while others have a polished or chrome-plated finish. The blade of one large pair of shears is stamped with the maker name KLEENCUT near the pivot. Another pair features the incised text FORGED STEEL on the shank. One pair of shears has the word SHEFFIELD stamped on the blade. The largest pair of shears measures approximately 13 inches in total length.
