Description
A set of four graduated kitchen canisters with matching lids, executed in olive green pressed glass. The design features the Moon and Star pattern, characterized by deep circular indentations containing smaller star or sunburst motifs, separated by vertical fluted columns. The fitted lids are surmounted by domed finials decorated with a circular sunburst motif around the base. The glass is heavy and transparent, typical of mid-20th-century American pressed glass production. The canisters transition from tall cylindrical forms to shorter, broader proportions as they decrease in size.
