Description

NOT AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING, PICK UP OR TRANSPORT ONLY – An American Arts and Crafts period two-door display bookcase, constructed of solid oak and oak veneers with prominent grain patterns. The cabinet features a characteristic Mission style design characterized by a rectangular silhouette and an overhanging top with a 3.5-inch backsplash. Decorative architectural corbels support the top corners. The two front doors and the side panels are glazed with clear glass. The doors are designed with a grid pattern of wood mullions at the top, creating six small panes above a large single pane on each door. The interior is fitted with three fixed shelves providing four levels of storage. The back is constructed of vertical tongue-and-groove boards. The piece is supported by square legs joined by a decorative arched apron at the base. Hardware includes dark metal butt hinges and a single metal escutcheon on the right door.
