Description
A large handmade cotton quilt featuring a geometric pieced top in a variation of the Cross and Crown or Plus pattern. The design utilizes a primary floral print fabric with red and pink blossoms, tan and green leaves, and a navy blue stippled background, set against contrasting solid cream or off-white fabric squares. The construction consists of a pieced top, a central layer of cotton or polyester batting, and a solid white fabric backing. The edges are finished with a dark navy blue fabric binding. The entire piece is unified by machine-guided longarm quilting in a decorative cabbage rose and swirling foliage pantograph pattern, visible as textured stitching across the surface and back.
