A Collection of Sodalite and Jasper Stone Marbles in a Glass Mason Jar
Description
This lot features a collection of approximately 60 to 70 stone spheres or marbles housed in a clear glass mason jar. The marbles are crafted from natural mineral stones, primarily exhibiting the deep blue and white mottled characteristics of sodalite, with some examples displaying the earthy brown and tan inclusions typical of jasper. The spheres are polished to a smooth finish and vary in size from small marbles to larger shooters.The clear glass jar features a metal screw-top lid. The body of the jar is molded with embossed graduations. On one side, the glass is embossed with the words Cups and Oz at the shoulder. Below these headings, numerical markings are present, reading 1 1/2 and 12 near the top, 1 and 8 in the center, and 1/2 and 4 toward the base. Two vertical molded ribs frame these measurements.
