Two Piece White Earthenware Spiral Molded Wash Pitcher and Basin Set
Description
A two piece set consisting of a large pitcher and a wide basin, both crafted in white earthenware with a glossy monochromatic glaze. The pitcher features a high-arched, scalloped spout, a decorative C-scroll handle with foliate molded accents, and a body with vertical spiral molding. The matching basin has a scalloped rim and a spiral-molded exterior. The underside of the pitcher features a hand-incised inscription reading Bessie Carriss. Sept-30-75. Small glaze pops and kiln marks from the firing process are visible on the underside of both pieces.Basin Diameter: 12.5 inchesOverall Height: 12 inches.
