Lot 318:
Description
This lot comprises three decorative avian-themed figurines. The first is a stylized, seated owl crafted from translucent cobalt blue pressed glass. The figure features concentric rings forming large eyes, a prominent beak, and molded textural details representing feathers across the body and wings. It rests on a circular, textured base. The remaining two items are a pair of ceramic bird figurines, likely representing crows or ravens, depicted in a forward-leaning, inquisitive posture. The ceramic bodies are finished in a high-gloss, dark brownish-black glaze with variegated golden-brown mottled highlights, creating a tortoiseshell effect across the textured plumage. The birds are supported by matte-finished reddish-brown metal legs and feet. There are no visible maker marks, signatures, or labels on any of the three pieces.Length: 5.5 inches (ceramic birds, from beak to tail)Height: 4.25 inches (ceramic birds, to top of head).
