Glenfield Model 60 Semi-Automatic Rifle .22 LR with 22 Inch Barrel
Description
This is a Glenfield Model 60 semi-automatic rimfire rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The firearm is configured with a 22-inch blued barrel featuring a full-length tubular magazine, an adjustable notched rear sight, and a blade front sight. The receiver is finished in a matching black/blued tone and is mounted in a one-piece wood stock. The stock displays decorative pressed oak leaf patterns on the forend and a squirrel motif within a shield on the pistol grip, and is fitted with a textured black plastic buttplate. The overall length of the rifle is approximately 40.5 inches. Verbatim barrel markings on the left side include GLENFIELD MODEL 60 MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. along with the caliber designation CAL. 22 L.R. ONLY. The serial number 71521765 is clearly stamped on the left side of the receiver.
