Description
A trio of vintage fishing outfits comprising a saltwater spinning combo, a freshwater baitcasting combo, and a light-action spincasting combo.
The first outfit is a heavy-duty spinning combination. The reel is a large silver-finished spinning reel featuring a black band on the spool with red text reading GEAR RATIO 1 : 3.3 and a black T-style handle grip. It is paired with a cream-colored fiberglass rod featuring dark red decorative wraps and a long black EVA foam split-grip handle.
The second outfit is a baitcasting combination. The reel is a Swedish-made ABU Ambassadeur No 5000 in red anodized finish. One side plate is marked with ABU Ambassadeur in script above No 5000 and AB. URFABRIKEN SVÄNGSTA SWEDEN. It also features a raised metallic crest emblem. The opposite side includes a mechanical tension knob with a scale numbered 0 through 9. This reel is mounted on a Shakespeare Tiger Combo rod, which is cream-colored with black and gold wraps and a black foam grip.
The third outfit is a light-action spincast combination. The reel is a Zebco One Classic with a gold-toned and black housing. An adhesive label on the reel reads ONE CLASSIC, CONTINUOUS ANTIREVERSE, ROLLER BEARING, and ZEBCO. The rod is a black fiberglass spinning rod marked Spinning Rod and LIGHT, featuring a black foam pistol-grip handle.
