Description
A military folding spike bayonet, consistent with the design for a Chinese Type 56 or SKS rifle. The steel blade features a silver-toned finish with a cruciform or tri-blade profile, incorporating deep fullers on three sides to reduce weight while maintaining structural integrity. The mounting assembly is constructed of blued steel and includes a muzzle ring and a spring-loaded, knurled grip mechanism designed for attachment to a rifle barrel. The blade transitions into a squared base that fits into the pivoting collar. There are no maker marks, factory codes, or serial numbers visible on the blade or the mounting hardware. The blade measures approximately 11.5 inches from the tip to the base of the collar. The total unit length is approximately 15.5 inches.
