A Pair of Gold River Mining Co. Paper Bags Dated 1994
Description
A pair of vintage paper bags, likely intended for souvenirs or popcorn, featuring graphics for Gold River Mining Co. The bags are constructed from light-colored paper with a flat-bottom gusset design. The front of each bag displays a central graphic consisting of a light blue rectangular field with a decorative border. Within this field, stylized Western-style typography reads GOLD RIVER MINING CO. in red and yellow with black shadowing. Above the text is a circular emblem depicting a mining scene with a pickaxe, gold nuggets, and mine shafts. The year 1994 is printed in black below the main graphic. The bottom flap of each bag bears a printed manufacturer mark in black sans-serif type reading BAGCRAFT, CHICAGO 60632 (photo 4). The bags measure approximately 6.25 inches in width and 16.5 inches in height.
