Description
A vintage single-sided porcelain-on-steel advertising sign for Sinclair Gasoline. The sign features a white ground with a central green-bordered trapezoidal frame. Inside this frame is the red slanted sans-serif name Sinclair above a green silhouette of the company’s trademark apatosaurus mascot. The word GASOLINE is printed below in red block capital letters. The sign is rectangular in form and retains its original mounting holes at the four corners and two additional centered holes along the side edges. The reverse of the sign is finished in a plain white porcelain enamel. Based on the provided measuring tape, the sign measures approximately 13 1/2 inches in height and 12 inches in width. Width: 12 inches Height: 13 1/2 inches.
