Description
A Winchester Model 94 lever-action carbine. The rifle features a blued steel barrel, magazine tube, and receiver, with a smooth walnut straight-grip stock and forend. The barrel is marked on the left side with a two-line inscription reading WINCHESTER – MODEL 94 – 30-30 WIN. followed by MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL. The serial number 3839629 is stamped on the underside of the receiver forward of the lever. The carbine is equipped with a hooded front sight and an adjustable rear notch sight. The receiver has a side loading gate and the action is operated by a standard loop lever. The wood furniture is finished with a smooth clear coat and fitted with a black buttplate. Overall length: 38.25 inches.
