Description
A vintage rectangular metal storage chest of industrial or military type, featuring a utilitarian construction reinforced with vertical and horizontal structural ribs. The chest is finished in a weathered black paint and is equipped with a hinged lid secured by two front-facing tension latches. Heavy-duty metal swing handles are mounted to each side for transport. The interior is open and finished in matching black paint. No maker marks, stamps, labels, or country-of-origin markings are visible on the exterior or interior surfaces. The length measures approximately 18 1/2 inches across the lid (photo 5). The height measures approximately 12 1/2 inches (photo 6). The depth measures approximately 9 inches (photo 4).
