Description
This vintage industrial medical floor lamp is manufactured by Graham-Field. The design features a chrome-plated steel telescoping pole with a flexible gooseneck upper section for adjustable directional lighting. The unit is supported by a heavy circular chrome-plated weighted base. The lamp head consists of a spun aluminum bell-shaped shade with a nested internal reflector baffle. A red adhesive label on the upper pole section reads GRAHAM-FIELD and HAUPPAUGE, NY 11788. A second red adhesive label inside the shade provides safety instructions reading To Reduce Risk of Fire Use 60 Watt Type A Lamp Maximum. The electrical components include a standard black two-prong cord which enters the pole through a black plastic grommet.
