Description
An assortment of Kentucky Derby and equestrian-themed decorative items and souvenirs contained within a blue plastic storage tote. The collection features a large standing brown plush horse with a white blaze, four white socks, and a black mane and tail, bearing a white fabric tush tag printed with the name AURORA. Two smaller plush horses are included: a grey horse with a blue and white blanket printed KENTUCKY DERBY 133 and a brown horse with a pink blanket printed 8 BARBARO. The textile group consists of several banners and flags, including a green fabric banner with embroidered harlequin jockey silks and the cursive text Derby Time, a blue banner with similar motifs and text, and a teal fabric runner featuring red, yellow, and purple horse silhouettes with yellow embroidered outlines. A green flag with a gold fleur-de-lis emblem and various other colorful flags are present. Additional decorative elements include large cardboard jockeys and horse head cutouts, artificial red roses, and red and black pleated paper rosettes.
