Description
This industrial-style step-on trash can is constructed from white painted steel and features a rectangular body with rounded corners. It is equipped with a foot-pedal mechanism for hands-free operation of the lid, which includes off-white protective corner bumpers. The front panel features a recessed embossed mark consisting of a hexagon containing the name UNITED with POTTSVILLE, PA. centered directly below it. Affixed above the embossed logo is a partial white paper label with printed text that reads United Metal Receptacle Corp. and Pottsville, PA 17901. According to the tape measure shown in the photographs, the lid has a width of approximately 12 1/2 inches and a depth of approximately 11 3/4 inches. The overall height of the receptacle, measured to the top of the rear hinge, is approximately 25 inches.
