Description
This lot consists of three firefighting-themed decorative objects: two framed prints and one wall clock. The first item is a framed lithographic print under glass featuring a detailed profile illustration of a red 1948 Ahrens Fox fire engine. The print is inscribed with 1948 AHRENS FOX on a plaque below the image. The vehicle body is marked CITY OF CHICAGO FIRE DEPT. and No. 2, and an equipment box is labeled MSA AIR MASK MODEL 401. An AF logo appears on the hood. The print is double-matted with red and black/gold borders and set in a black-finished wood frame. The second item is a framed print under glass titled WHERE’S THE FIRE? depicting three Dalmatian puppies with fire equipment, including a helmet labeled ASHBURN. The lower right corner bears a printed cursive signature reading Jim Lamb followed by a copyright symbol. It is double-matted with cream and red and housed in a light oak-finished wood frame with a stepped profile. The third item is a wall clock with a circular face featuring a silver-tone diamond plate texture background. The central design is a red Maltese cross with a fire helmet, ladders, and axe. The face is marked SHELBY CO at the top, FIRE DEPT at the bottom, and F and D at the sides. The helmet shield is inscribed FIREFIGHTER.
