Description
A pair of American solid oak side chairs in the Windsor style manufactured by the Richardson Brothers Company. Each chair features a bow-back hoop design with nine tapered spindles and a contoured saddle seat. The chairs are supported by turned legs joined by H-shaped stretchers, finished in a warm honey-toned stain. The underside of the seat is marked with a black stamp reading RICHARDSON BROTHERS COMPANY SINCE 1848 MADE IN THE USA 9 1991 591 (photo 5).
