Description
A circular wall hanging constructed from cut sheet metal featuring the silhouette of an American 4-4-0 type steam locomotive. The locomotive is finished in black paint with gold-toned accents on the steam domes and a white badge on the front bearing the hand-painted number 57. Billowing white smoke extends from the smokestack toward the upper left. The locomotive is set within a red-painted circular frame accented by several small five-pointed star cutouts spaced around the perimeter. The reverse side of the piece is finished in black paint. Diameter: 24 inches.
