Description
A pair of die-cast semi-tractor trailers manufactured by Lionel. The set includes two separate tractor-trailer units featuring iconic American corporate branding. The first unit consists of a red conventional cab paired with a white trailer decorated with the multi-colored Toys R Us and Kids R Us logos and an image of the mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe. The second unit features a white cab with the Miles Laboratories logo on the doors, paired with a white trailer displaying repeating graphics of Original Alka-Seltzer packets. The cabs are constructed of die-cast metal, while the trailers are made of plastic. The units feature free-rolling rubber-like tires mounted on chrome-finished plastic wheels. The trailers are detachable from the fifth-wheel coupling, and the landing gear on the trailers is functional. The trailers are marked with the numbers 12811, the date code BLT 1-92, and the manufacturer name LIONEL. Length: 11.5 inches Height: 3.75 inches.
