Description
A pair of American Flyer S-gauge Alco PA-1 A-A diesel locomotives manufactured by A.C. Gilbert. The set consists of one powered unit and one non-powered dummy unit. Both locomotives feature die-cast metal bodies and are finished in the Missouri Pacific Eagle livery consisting of blue, silver, and yellow bands. The units are marked with the road numbers 21922 and 21922-1 respectively. The text MISSOURI PACIFIC is printed on the lower blue bands, and the cab sides bear the inscription BUILT BY GILBERT. The nose of each unit is decorated with a silver eagle wing logo centering a red Missouri Pacific Lines circular emblem. The powered unit contains an electric motor with metal pickup rollers, while the dummy unit includes pickup rollers for internal lighting. Both locomotives are equipped with knuckle-style couplers. The truck frames feature embossed OIL markings with directional arrows. Length: Each unit measures approximately 13 inches.
