This vintage industrial workstation is a modular three-piece assembly manufactured for the Belknap Hardware and Manufacturing Company under the Blue Grass brand name. The unit is constructed of steel and features an original blue hammerstone textured paint finish. The assembly consists of a top five-drawer portable tool chest with a top-loading compartment under a hinged lid, a middle riser section providing an open storage shelf, and a bottom rolling cabinet with two drawers and a large lower storage compartment behind a drop-down door. It is equipped with silver-tone metal bar pulls, side bail handles on the upper chest, and four swiveling casters. A riveted metal identification plate on the top chest is marked Blue Grass, Manufactured for Belknap, Inc., Louisville, KY 40201, Model 2591. A yellow caution sticker is affixed to the interior of the top lid. Integrated locks are present on both the top and bottom units. Height: 53.5 inches Width: 22.25 inches Depth: 18 inches.
