Description
This A.E. Hull salt-glazed stoneware pitcher features relief-molded decoration with a central oval medallion on both sides depicting a standing cow. The vessel is finished with a light salt-glaze and detailed with cobalt blue accents concentrated on the upper and lower borders, the handle, and within the central medallions. The upper rim is adorned with a molded scrolling vine border, and the handle is textured to resemble twisted rope. The piece is constructed of molded stoneware and lacks any visible maker marks or factory stamps on the base. Height: 8.5 inches Base Diameter: 4.75 inches Width (Spout to Handle): 8.5 inches.
