Description
This set consists of four teacups and one matching saucer made of earthenware. Each piece is decorated with a blue transfer-printed landscape pattern. The primary scene depicts Windsor Castle situated above a river with figures and a boat in the foreground, framed by a floral and foliate border. The interior of each cup contains a smaller transfer-printed vignette of a castle. The cups are designed with rounded bodies and loop handles decorated with a floral sprig. The saucer has a shallow, flared rim. Small blue marks are present on the underside of the saucer near the outer edge of the base, though no factory name is legible. Saucer diameter: 5 1/2 inches.
