Description
This lot comprises a collection of glazed earthenware tabletop accessories from the Fiesta line, manufactured by the Homer Laughlin China Company. Included are a matching pair of miniature bulb vases and a matching pair of salt and pepper shakers. The bulb vases feature a spherical globe body with signature concentric rings around the top aperture, supported by a square pedestal base with molded scroll and foliate motifs. These vases are finished in a Sea Mist green glaze. The salt and pepper shakers are of the spherical ball form, each featuring concentric rings at the top and set upon a flared circular pedestal foot. The shakers are finished in a deep Cobalt Blue glaze and include their original reddish-brown flexible stoppers. The bulb vases are incised on the underside with the maker’s mark reading Fiesta and HLC USA. The shakers do not have visible maker’s marks on the unglazed foot rims.
