Description
This lot comprises a pair of two-blade advertising pocket knives manufactured by the Colonial Knife Company of Providence, Rhode Island. Both knives feature shell-handled construction with yellowish-cream pearloid cracked ice celluloid covers secured by metal bolsters. Each knife is equipped with two polished steel blades: a master pen blade and a smaller secondary pen blade. The handles are printed with Winchester advertising branding; one knife features black text reading WINCHESTER- Western, and the other features red text reading WINCHESTER Trademark made in U.S.A. The master blades are stamped at the tang with COLONIAL PROV. R.I. The knives are housed in their original two-part clear hinged plastic storage case. Closed length: 3 1/4 inches Overall length (master blade open): 5 1/2 inches.
