Description
A lidded and footed oval candy dish manufactured by the Fenton Art Glass Company. The piece is constructed from opaque white milk glass and features the Hobnail pattern, characterized by a relief-molded studded exterior. The oval bowl has a scalloped, crimped rim and is supported by three short, rounded feet. The matching domed lid is decorated with the same hobnail pattern and is topped with a molded finial in the form of a clustered bunch of grapes. The underside of the bowl base contains an embossed oval mark with the Fenton name in cursive script and the numeral 8 positioned below it, signifying production during the 1980s. Height: 5.5 inches Length: 6.75 inches.
