Description
This is a vintage Pyrex mixing bowl from the Primary Colors nesting set. It is constructed from opaque white opal glass, commonly referred to as milk glass, featuring a fired-on green exterior finish and a white interior. The bowl is the #403 model, which has a 2.5-quart capacity. The base of the bowl features an impressed circular mark. The outer top arc reads T. M. REG. with MADE IN U. S. A. positioned directly below. The brand name PYREX is centered horizontally, and the bottom arc contains the text U. S. PAT. OFF. This specific backstamp style was utilized by Corning Glass Works from the late 1940s into the early 1950s. Diameter: 8 3/4 inches Height: 4 inches.
