Description
This vintage instant roll film camera is a Polaroid Land Camera Model 95A, produced between 1954 and 1957. The unit features a cast aluminum body with a brown textured synthetic covering known as Kalistron and black folding bellows. The front lens board includes a 130mm lens with a simple rotary shutter, a numerical exposure dial with settings 1 through 8, and a switch for B and I settings. The faceplate is clearly marked POLAROID LAND CAMERA and MODEL 95A. The interior back panel contains the markings POLAROID Land CAMERA, POLAROID CORPORATION, Cambridge, Mass., and MADE IN U.S.A., along with patent numbers 2,435,717; 2,435,720; 2,455,111; D-152,229; 2,504,312; 2,531,936; 2,538,511; and 2,543,159. A paper instructional card titled It is Simple is attached to the rear of the camera body.
