Description
Large-scale color print, likely a photogravure, titled A REAL GOOD STORY, attributed to Heywood Hardy. The scene depicts a classic English equestrian fox hunting party with five huntsmen on horseback in traditional red coats and top hats within a wooded landscape. A single foxhound is shown in the foreground. The print includes two distinct publication inscriptions in the lower margin. The left side features a 1900 copyright line by publishers Messrs. Arthur Tooth and Sons, London, Paris, and New York. The right side states the work was republished in 1910 by Louis Wolff and Co. Ltd., London. The piece is housed in a wide burl-wood style frame with gilded inner and outer edges and a deep brown mat.43.5 x 36 inches.
