Description
This antique rectangular wall mirror dates to the late 19th or early 20th century. The frame is constructed of stained oak with a prominent grain and mitered corners. It features two decorative gilded bands: a wide central band of embossed composition ornament depicting floral, foliate, and berry motifs, and a narrow inner beaded fillet border. The reverse includes a secondary wooden support frame and a later cardboard backing. A horizontal metal hanging wire is attached for mounting. No labels or maker’s marks were identified.Width: 35 inchesHeight: 31 inches.
