Description
A trio of contemporary earthenware kitchen cruets with various figural and botanical themes. The first vessel is a figural dispenser depicting a Santa Claus character dressed as a chef, wearing a tall white hat, blue-striped tunic, and a black and white checkered scarf. He is shown holding a plate of pastries and a baguette. The second bottle is a square tapered form featuring a hand-decorated yellow ground with a large red tomato and a wrap-around olive branch with dark blue olives. The base of this piece includes an embossed mark reading GIFTCO and a gold-tone foil label from Giftco Inc. The third vessel is a stylized figural bottle in the Maitre D pattern by Dansk, depicting a waiter in a formal black tuxedo with a white shirt and apron. The base of this piece features a black circular Dansk hand-painted stamp and a paper barcode label identifying it as a 30oz oil bottle, model number 84386, produced in 2003 for Boston Warehouse Trading Corp.
