Description
This assortment consists of four silver-plated objects from different manufacturers. Included is a lidded creamer or small pitcher by the Benedict Manufacturing Co. of East Syracuse, New York. The vessel features a spun body decorated with an engraved floral and foliate spray, a cast ornamental handle, and a hinged lid. The base is stamped Benedict Mfg. Co. Quadruple Plate 6. Also included is a footed bowl with a removable lid by the Homan Silver Plate Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio. The design features three cast scroll feet and a lid surmounted by a cross finial. The underside bears the Homan Silver Plate Co. circular mark with a central anchor. The collection is completed by a pair of contemporary wine goblets by Godinger Silver Art Co. Ltd. The goblets feature cast stems and bases fashioned as grapevines with clusters of grapes and leaves, supporting bowls with a brushed finish. One goblet retains the original manufacturer foil label on the base.Dimensions: Various.
