Description
This lot features two vintage gasoline blow torches of American manufacture, dating to the mid-20th century. The larger unit is a Turner Brass Works model 206AK, produced in Sycamore, Illinois. It features a cylindrical brass tank with a flared base, a red-painted wooden handle, and a cast-iron burner assembly. The burner is embossed with the text TURNER 206AK and SYCAMORE ILL. The smaller unit is a compact gasoline torch manufactured by the Lenk Manufacturing Company of Newton, Massachusetts. This item possesses a brass body and a red-painted curved metal handle. It retains a largely intact decal on the side with the manufacturer name and a gasoline label.
