Description
This item is a lidded stoneware casserole or serving bowl featuring a deep body with a slightly flared rim and a matching domed lid with a central knob handle. The exterior is finished in a cream-colored glaze with fine, all-over crazing. The piece is decorated with horizontal cobalt blue bands, including two concentric circles on the lid and a single band around the body of the bowl. The interior rim features a dark brown glazed band. The unglazed base displays concentric manufacturing ridges and handwritten markings in dark pigment, including the number 75 and two characters that appear to be letters, possibly J and B.Diameter: 10 inchesHeight: 6 inches.
