Description
This collection of antique apothecary or chemist bottles is crafted from clear glass and features rectangular bodies with recessed panels on the front and sides designed for paper labels. The set consists of one large display-size bottle and several smaller companion vessels. The bottles are primarily fitted with ground glass stoppers featuring wide, flat circular tops and horizontal flanges, while others retain cork closures. These examples are characteristic of pharmacy glassware produced by Whitall Tatum and Company during the late 19th century.
