Description
This is a vintage molded plastic toy tow truck manufactured by Gay Toys Inc. The vehicle features a bright yellow body with a black front grille, bumper, and interior bench seat. An off-white or cream-colored plastic tow crane assembly is mounted in the truck bed. The sides of the vehicle are decorated with multi-color decals featuring Goodyear branding, the winged foot logo, and text including Tire Center, Complete Auto Service, and 24-Hour Car Care. The truck sits on four black plastic wheels with white rims and Goodyear lettering. The underside of the chassis is embossed with manufacturer information: GAY (within an oval logo), TOYS INC., 799 LADD RD., WALLED LAKE MICH., 48088, MADE IN U.S.A., ITEM NO. 689, and CAVITY NO. 2.
