Description
This lot features two reclaimed French Oak barrels produced by the Independent Stave Company (ISC) under the Cooper’s Reserve line. The set includes one full-sized barrel and one half-barrel cut horizontally. The barrel head of the full-sized item is stamped with the Cooper’s Reserve name and the ISC logo, along with printed text specifying French Oak, Profile Angel’s Share I, and Char #3. The full barrel is constructed with six galvanized metal hoops and includes a central wooden bung. The half-barrel, likely repurposed as a planter, retains three metal hoops and features a heavily charred interior. A semicircular notch is visible at the top rim of the half-barrel, corresponding to the original bung hole location. A white adhesive label on the top hoop of the full barrel displays a barcode and the alphanumeric code 231204703 and CW20 FO X F AS1 CH3 C 5.
