Description
This is an antique combination safe still bank, attributed to the Kenton Hardware Company or National Safe Company, produced in the late 19th to early 20th century. The bank features a cast metal front door and top plate with stamped metal side and back panels. The top is decorated with raised scrollwork surrounding the cast lettering SAVINGS BANK. The front door displays matching ornate scrollwork and is fitted with a central combination-style dial and a pull knob. A horizontal coin entry slot is located at the top of the rear panel. The interior structure includes a vertical support rod and a perforated base. Height: 4 1/4 inchesWidth: 3 inchesDepth: 2 1/4 inches.
