Description
A large ice bucket or champagne cooler produced by Block as part of the Imperial collection. The piece is constructed from 24 percent full lead crystal and features a tapered cylindrical form. The exterior is decorated with wide vertical miter-cut flutes or pleats that extend to the rim, creating a notched or scalloped top edge. The base features a deeply cut radial starburst pattern. An original oval gold foil label is affixed to the side, which identifies the piece as 24 percent Full Lead Crystal from the maker Block, featuring a bee logo within the letter O.
