Description
An Evan Williams Master Distiller’s Select commemorative Earthstone jug, dated 1983. This ceramic stoneware jug features a two-tone glaze, with a dark brown upper portion and a cream-colored lower body. The vessel is formed with a single loop handle and is topped with a natural cork stopper. A red paper seal, scuffed but largely intact, covers the cork. The front of the jug is printed in black with the Evan Williams logo, barrel icon, and product details. The reverse side features a printed paragraph about the distillery’s history and the hand-selection of the bourbon, followed by bottling information for the Old Evan Williams Distillery in Bardstown, Nelson County, Kentucky. A silver-toned foil label on the shoulder identifies the item as a commemorative Earthstone jug. The underside of the base is incised with the marks LIMITED EDITION 1983 750 ML.Height: 7.5 inchesWidth: 5.25 inches.
