Description
A Victorian style street lamp floor lamp featuring a cast metal frame with an antique gold-tone finish. The hexagonal lantern head contains six panels of amber-colored slag glass and is decorated with pierced scrollwork, bead-and-reel motifs, and a pointed finial. The support pole is composed of multiple sections, including a textured upper shaft and a lower shaft with an embossed scale pattern. A decorative urn-shaped element with laurel swags sits above the base. The heavy tripod base is embellished with neoclassical acanthus leaves, scrollwork, and paw feet. The lamp is equipped with a single pull-chain switch beneath the lantern and a brown plastic cord. No maker’s marks or labels are present. Height: 64.5 inchesBase Width: 14 inches.
