This late Victorian era American parlor or occasional table is constructed of oak. The square tabletop features a molded edge and a decorative dark stringing or inlaid border. Positioned below the top is a fixed lower shelf with a scalloped piecrust edge, displaying a prominent quartersawn or tiger oak grain pattern. The table is supported by four splayed legs featuring spool-turned bobbin ornamentation. No manufacturer marks are visible.Width: 22 inchesDepth: 22 inchesHeight: 28.5 inches.
