Description
SHIPPING NOT AVAILABLE, FOR PICK UP OR TRANSPORT ONLY – This early 20th-century console table was originally designed to house radio components. The piece is constructed from hardwood with figured veneers, likely walnut or mahogany, and features decorative lightwood stringing. The front frieze consists of two rectangular veneer panels flanking a central section of pierced wood fretwork. Below the center sits a matching shaped fretwork drop. Both fretwork areas are backed with a gold and brown woven textile grille cloth. The table is supported by four tapered, fluted legs with ring-turned details, terminating in bun feet. The legs are connected by a low, shaped stretcher. The reverse of the table features a large circular cutout and mounting holes for original radio electronics.
