Description
A 20th-century decorative tea kettle manufactured in Israel exclusively for the American retailer Ethan Allen. The item is designed in the Colonial Revival style and features a spun copper dome-shaped body with a brass base rim. The hardware components, including the gooseneck spout, ornate scrolling handle, and lid finial, are made of cast brass. The handle is attached to the body with rivets. The underside of the base is stamped with the following marks: MADE EXCLUSIVELY / FOR ETHAN ALLEN, MADE IN / ISRAEL, and a copyright symbol. The interior of the vessel shows evidence of mineral deposits and oxidation consistent with previous use.Height: 9.5 inchesBase Diameter: 8.5 inchesWidth: 11.5 inches.
